A List Of Everything You Don’t Need When Moving
We’re all guilty of accumulating more stuff than our homes can hold. Here are 10 things you need to eliminate before you call Bay Area movers.
Take some photos and make a treasured photo album instead! We all have those things we never look at but can’t bear to part with. If you are saving boxes and bins of baby’s 1st’s, high school trophies, vacation memorabilia, children’s crafts, baseball cards, etc… we suggest you take some photos instead. Take out your wrestling trophy and go for one last photo op. Arrange all the painted ceramic animals and crayon drawings the kids did decades ago and take some nice photos. Have fun with it. Stage some fun scenes if you have the time or just keep it simple and capture the essence of the object with nice lighting and clear focus…. Then make an album! Enjoy your memorabilia any day or time and relive favorite memories in a very easy to access way – in a photo album instead.
Keep in mind:
- Try and do this before you move and you’ll have less boxes and bins to move!
- Make donations of some items so that other people may enjoy them.
- Some items may be best to simply discard or recycle after you have finished creating the photo album
- We suggest not getting rid of the items until you are finished taking photos and making your album.

A perfect move and a great price! Everyone was so polite professional and helpful. Steve and his team were extremely experienced, careful and communicated well!! Lots of heavy pieces long Victorian stairs, and tight corners.... Not a scratch dent or problem with our belongings. Incredibly positive attitude and very helpful! When faced with adversity there is no hesitation or doubt. I was moving from a small apartment in to my new home. I have an extremely long drive way at a significant slope that makes maneuvering vehicles very difficult. When the truck could not be backed up the drive way, my movers parked it at the bottom, opened up the side doors and got to work without any gripe or negativity. These guys are all about getting the job done! I love that! Put your head down and grind it out. Literally carried everything up my drive way and were done quick. Not a single scratch or anything on my home or any of my stuff and put everything together for me. AMAZING! I would never recommend anyone else. Thanks so much to the MM&S team! Gets the Job Done!

- Jonathan PerryMagic Moving & Storage was used a part of my military move from Bay area to San Diego. They delivered my furniture to my new residence with HASSLE FREE. Steve(driver), Julio and Hector were respectful, professional, efficient and very dynamic. I was really impressed at their concern for not damaging anything as they were moving heavy boxes/furniture (i.e. they did not damage any walls or corners). They were quick and accomodated any of my requests. I would surely recommend them to anyone that wants their move done right.
